Get involved.

(This is what you can do in The Navigators.)

1.  Learn to be a disciple

  • the first step in learning how to serve others effectively is learning how to follow Jesus consistently through  the circumstances of life
  • if you want to grow personally in the areas of Bible reading, prayer, & evangelism a Navigator staff person would like to meet with you

2.  Learn to pass on what you have learned

  • the heart of The Navigators ministry lies in helping students grow through life-on-life mentoring (aka "discipling"), for Jesus told us to "go and make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:19)
  • if you want to help a friend learn to read the Bible or pray, a Navigator staff person can give you the vision, help, and ongoing input you need to make a difference in someone else's life

3.  Introduce your non-Christian friends to Jesus

  • the world is filled with people who respect Jesus, yet never have read for themselves an account of His teaching or life
  • if you want to help your non-Christian friends meet Jesus so they can decide for themselves what they think of Him, a Navigator staff person will help you get ready to facilitate a discussion group
